Skills Development

Skills Development is one of those activities that are so pertinent to us as an organization given the nature of our operations in dealing with vulnerable children, young mothers:- Young Widows and Teenage mothers. For community empowerment and impact, we have a Skills Development Department headed by Samia Namakula. Samia is a professional Teacher with a Bachelors Degree in Education majoring in Vocational Studies. With a strong inclination to “Skills Development,” she has garnered an avalanche of experience which she has put to use at Champions of Hope. She as well holds a Diploma in Environmental Sciences. She has previously worked with Ashinaga Uganda – A Japanese organization teaching Sewing Skills to Women in Nansana – Wakiso District until end of 2019 when she joined champions of Hope Foundation.
